Weatherwood Homestead

The Weatherwood Homestead hosts vacationers, tour groups, event gatherings, retreats and workshops from May 15 to October 15 each year, and weddings during the height of summer. Custom activity packages for tour groups are available. Activity packages may include but are not limited to Chuckwagon and BBQ style meals (with or without live western music and dancing), and presentations on Montana’s night sky.

The property consists of more than 200 acres of lovingly preserved farmland and wooded grounds at the edge of the Columbia Mountain Range in northwest Montana. Immaculately landscaped yards and whispering ponderosa pines invite guests to spend their vacations in two private cabins near Glacier Park.

Cabin guests can linger in the exceptional mountain comfort of the Weatherwood Main Cabin, enjoying all the luxuries of modern living (including high-speed internet) with a distinct western flair. The cabin consists of two fully equipped bathrooms, two and a half bedrooms (two twin beds/two full beds), a kitchen, a living room, a stone patio, and three covered porches. Visitors are welcome to use the patio grill and Jacuzzi, lounge in porch Adirondack chairs and explore the neighboring English garden. The Weatherwood Main Cabin is comfortable no matter the weather due to its gas forced-air heating and air conditioning, washer and dryer, and outdoor bonfire pit. Complimentary breakfast foods and kitchen staples are included.

Weatherwood's Honeymoon Cabin—a studio cabin with a half bathroom, a small kitchen, a cozy living area, and a bedroom—is suitable for two guests. The Honeymoon Cabin also provides high-speed internet, modern utilities, and a gas stove. Please Note: Bookings with 4 or more guests include full access to the Weatherwood Homestead Main Cabin and the Honeymoon Cabin, giving our vacationers the additional space and mountain privacy they deserve.

Guests must be at least 12 years of age or older, and no large gatherings are permitted. Pets are allowed with prior approval. Horse and mule accommodations are available with prior notification and additional charges.
